NORTH ATTLEBORO - The town council, by a 5-0 vote, approved a transfer of $28,000 for upgrades to the playground area at Mason Field during their meeting Wednesday night.
The work will include loam and seeding, fixing and painting guardrails around the playground and park and the moving of the batting cages.
Finance Subcommittee Chair John Simmons made the proposal to his fellow councilors.
