ATTLEBORO - The North TV sports crew was twice as busy last Friday night.
Jared Ware and Del Malloy were at Bishop Feehan for the Shamrocks’ 85-37 girls’ basketball rout of Archbishop Williams in Catholic Central League play.
At the same time, Mark Farinella and Alex Salachi were at King Philip for the Warriors’ 57-53 upset of Attleboro in boys’ play.
There were a number of options for our North TV Player of the Week and we went with Feehan 5’8” junior guard Madelyn Steel. “Maddy” led the way with 18 points as the Shamrocks raced out to a 27-2 lead at the end of the first quarter.
The North Attleboro resident will receive a DVD copy of Friday’s game and a Player of the Week t-shirt in Bishop Feehan green. We’ll announce our Player of the Week for week five next week at this time.
