PLAINVILLE - It was a busy week for the North TV staff with elections on Monday and Tuesday night.
Plainville was first with 13 percent of registered voters deciding the outcome of three races on Monday.
The battle for the one three-year seat on the select board garnered most of the attention.
Incumbent Brian Kelly defeated finance committee member Sherrill Minch 508 votes to 433 in a spirited race.
They were both at town hall Monday night when the final results were announced and then joined North TV's live election coverage.
