FOXBORO - The North TV sports crew wrapped up the fall sports season last week at the home of New England Patriots when King Philip played in their third straight Super Bowl and their sixth in the last seven years Thursday night.
The Warriors blew open a close game against Marshfield in the second half to capture the Division 2 state championship 42-14.
The win was the 13th of the season against no losses and marked the ninth time this season KP won by 28 or more points.
You don’t do that without a dominant line on both sides of the ball and is why North TV selected one of the anchors of the offensive and defensive line, Sean King, as our Player of the Week.
The 6-1, 280 pound senior captain, wearing number 78, cleared holes offensively while plugging-up the middle against the Rams.
Sean will receive a copy of the Super Bowl win and a Player of the Week shirt in King Philip gold. We’ll announce our first Player of the Week for the winter sports season in a couple of weeks.
