NORTH ATTLEBORO - Local residents joined hundreds of thousands of others across the nation demonstrating against the policies of President Donald Trump.
North Attleboro’s “No Kings” rally was held at the triangle where East Washington, Elmwood, North Washington and Park Streets meet. It was diagonally across from the former store that sold Trump and Make America Great Again merchandise on Route 1.
Peter Brock, chair of the North Attleboro Democratic Town Committee and one of the organizers of the town’s rally told our partners at The Sun Chronicle about 75 people turned out for their protest.
That number, however, paled in comparison to the 500 that packed downtown Attleboro.
