NORTH ATTLEBORO - Members of the health department recognized longtime volunteer Jessie Macomber Tuesday at town hall for her 20 years of service to Lenore’s Pantry.
Macomber has given of her time to Lenore’s since 2005, organizing and distributing food to North Attleboro residents facing food insecurity.
She is well-known for going above and beyond for pantry patrons, often baking muffins and sharing recipes.
Macomber also shares her time at the Second Congregational Church in Attleboro, where she bakes apple pies and cinnamon rolls for their Christmas fair.

Lenore’s Pantry is named after former Public Health Nurse Lenore Paquin, who started the pantry to provide meals for thousands of residents in need.
