Migrants helping understaffed North companies

NORTH ATTLEBORO - Bells Powder Coating was among the businesses in the North Attleboro Industrial Business Park having a difficult time finding workers for their vacant laborer positions.

That was until Paul Belham met with town officials.

That led to a meeting with migrant familes and the hiring of a dozen with three more soon to be joining the growing company.

Town Manager Michael Borg, State Representative Adam Scanlon and Assistant Superintendent of Schools Michelle McKeon toured the company and met with the new employees on Thursday. They then held a press conference for The Sun Chronicle, the NorthStar Reporter and North TV.
