NAED prepared for hot temperatures

NORTH ATTLEBORO - Air conditioners in the area were working overtime during the last week in June with temperatures reaching 100 on June 24.

While the next day was cooler at 96, the feel-like temperature with the humidity was as high as 111.

The higher the temperature, the higher the demand for electricity, especially during on weekdays.

The temperatures and the impact on North Attleborough Electric were topics discussed with General Manager Peter Schiffman Wednesday during a recording of “The North Attleborough Electric Show.”
