NORTH ATTLEBORO - One week after it was presented to the town council, the purchase of the building currently hosting Fisher College was given a favorable recommendation and sent back to the council by a vote of the finance subcommittee.
Originally the home of Donley Manufacturing and later Bristol County Savings Bank, Fisher College has agreed to sell the building to North Attleboro for $2.3 million and used as a new senior center, regional food pantry and more. Tuesday’s recommendation was unanimous.
