NORTH ATTLEBORO - In addition to providing assistance and guidance to residents who suffered damage from heavy rain last week, Town Manager Mike Borg has been dealing with damage inside town hall.
The lower level of town hall, home to the town council’s meeting room, the board of health and Lenore’s Pantry suffered water damage.
The council’s meeting on Monday was moved to the Jim Rice Meeting Room at the Woodock School Administration Building, others were shifted to the Department of Public Works meeting room and even North TV has hosted meetings.
Borg spoke to North TV on Thursday about the flooding and what the town is doing to assist residents.
