NORTH ATTLEBORO - The emergency operations center in the North Attleboro police station and the large meeting room at Plainville’s town hall will be the sites of four debates in two nights over a three-day span next week.
Three of the four candidates seeking two three-year seats on the North Attleboro school committee – Incumbent John Costello, Incumbent Ethan Hamilton and Charles Dobre-Badobre – will answer questions from Sun Chronicle columnist Mike Kirby and WARA talk show host Paul Healy. David Chee is the fourth candidate seeking a three-year seat but he will be out of town the week before the election.
The North Attleboro debate will be cablecast LIVE on North TV’s Education Channel: Comcast channel 9 and Verizon channel 23. It will also be streamed LIVE on education.northtv.net.
Three debates featuring candidates in Plainville’s annual election will take place on Wednesday night.
Gregory Wehmeyer and Joseph Cronin are running for the one one-year seat on the King Philip Regional School Committee; they’ll answer questions from Healy and Sun Chronicle columnist Bill Gouveia starting at 6:30 p.m.
Three candidates are seeking the two three-year seats on the Plainville school committee – Justin Alexander, Sarah Cronin and Steven Albert. Their debate will begin at 7:15 p.m.
The final debate of the evening will feature the two candidates running for one three-year seat on the select board - incumbent Brian Kelly and Sherrill Minch. That debate is expected to start at 8 p.m.
All three of the debates will be cablecast LIVE on North TV’s Plainville Channel: Comcast channel 8 and streamed LIVE on plainville.northtv.net.
