NORTH ATTLEBORO - There was major work done outside the VFW Newell-Blais Post 443 at 50 Jefferson Street Thursday morning.
The removal of three large trees behind the building was donated by Northeastern Tree Service of Cranston to the veterans service organization.
In addition, North Attleborough Electric erected a pole for a guide wire to the building.
North TV spoke to Senior Vice Commander Craig Chapman about the project, one of many improvements eyed for the post.
