Test 3

Oakridge Ave. residents unhappy with road

NORTH ATTLEBORO - The condition of streets has been a constant complaint on social media with no area community immune.

Chapter 90 funding from the state hasn’t kept up with the rising costs of paving local public ways, so communities have had to spend more in their annual operating budget to cover those costs.

Residents from a North Attleboro road that was never accepted by the town attended Wednesday’s meeting of the board of public works to voice their frustration with their street, Oakridge Avenue, and asked for the town’s help.

That meeting can be seen in its entirety through Thursday on North TV’s Government Channel: Comcast channel 98 and Verizon channel 23.
