NORTH ATTLEBORO - The president and vice president of the town council will be back on the ballot when residents go to the polls on April 1.
Council President Justin Pare and Vice President John Simmons announced on a recent recording of “Inside Town Council” they considered not running again but felt the town is at a critical stage and it was important to keep the positive momentum going.
They discussed the state of the town entering the new year.

In addition to Pare and Simmons, incumbents John Costello, Dan Donovan, Mark Gould, Andrea Slobogan and Patricia St. Pierre are also seeking reelection to the council.
David Cannata Jr., Leo Glennon, John Gould, Kevin McCarthy and Laura Wagner have also pulled papers.
