PLAINVILLE - There were three candidates running for two three-year seats on the school committee, which oversees the Jackson and Wood elementary schools.
Justin Alexander, who was appointed to fill a vacant position on the board late last year, topped the field with 611 votes, Steven Albert was also elected with 509 votes.
Sarah Cronin failed in her first attempt to join the committee with 407 votes.
Alexander and Albert were interviewed as part of North TV's live election night coverage.
