PLAINVILLE - The position of director of planning and economic development in town hall wasn’t vacant for long.
Less than five weeks after Michael Mullen announced at a meeting of the planning board he was stepping down to take a position in a neighboring community, select board members appointed Taylor Torres at the recommendation of Town Administrator Brian Noble.
