NORTH ATTLEBORO - There were three games on the North TV sports schedule this week, including a day-night double-header on Friday, October 8 at King Philip.
The Warriors field hockey team fell to Franklin in Friday's opener 2-0. Senior forward Sydney O’Shea, number-21, was one of the bright spots for the Warriors using her speed and stick-handling to keep KP close, earning her North TV Player of the Game honors.
Later that night, on the same artificial turf, the Warriors upended Attleboro 30-22. Senior quarterback Charlie Grant, number-10, completed 9 of 15 passes for 176 yards and two touchdowns with no interceptions to be named our North TV Player of the Game.
The action was inside the Pickering Gymnasium Tuesday night when North Attleboro hosted King Philip in volleyball. The visiting Warriors dominated the Red Rocketeers to remain undefeated, coasting to a 3-0 (25-11, 25-8 and 25-10) victory. Junior mid-hitter Sami Shore, number-18, paced KP with 16 kills, two blocks and three service aces to be named our North TV Player of the Game.
Sydney, Charlie and Sami will each receive personalized DVD’s of their games and Player of the Game tee-shirts in their school colors.
