NORTH ATTLEBORO - If you have a child in one of the town’s elementary schools there’s a good chance they brought home a coloring sheet with recycling as the theme.
The sheets are part of the North Attleboro solid waste department’s third annual coloring contest.
Students in kindergarten, first grade and second grade will color a sheet featuring a student placing recycling material in a bin.
Grades three, four and five will color a sheet with the words Reduce, Reuse, Recycle.
The sheets will be collected on May 15.
First place winners will receive a $30 gift card to the An Unlikely Story bookstore and will star in recycling public service announcements running through the year on North TV's four channels.
Second place winners will receive a $20 gift card and third place winners a $10 gift card.
The awards ceremony will be held on Monday, June 17.
