NORTH ATTLEBORO - It was a relatively quiet week for the North TV sports crew.
The Mansfield at Tri-County game originally scheduled for Tuesday was cancelled leaving us with only two games last week.
North Attleboro’s Pickering Gymnasium was the site of Wednesday night's wrestling cablecast. The Red Rocketeers’ routed Sharon 51-29 on the mat to remain undefeated in Hockomock League dual meets.
We were back at NAHS Friday for girls’ basketball. The Red Rocketeers fell to the Hornets for the second time this season. After losing by 24 the first time around, North fell by only 15 points, 53-46.
Our Player of the Week comes from Wednesday’s wrestling match.
Alexander Robin, a junior wrestling at 138 pounds, pinned his opponent in the first period.
