Test 3

Rosenberg, Sawyer & McMath named Players of the Game

NORTH ATTLEBORO - Three student-athletes are joining our list of Players of the Game for the winter sports season.

The North TV sports crew was inside the Pickering Gymnasium Friday night for boys’ basketball. The Tigers tamed the Red Rocketeers 65-42. Brody Rosenberg scored almost a quarter of North’s points. The 5’10” senior guard finished with a team high 10 points to be named our North TV Player of the Game.

Our crew was back at the Pickering Gym Tuesday night for a battle between two girls’ basketball teams North TV covers on a regular basis, King Philip and North Attleboro. Defense dominated as the Warriors slipped past the Red Rocketeers 29-23. Junior center Emily Sawyer was held to a team high 6 points but it was her defensive pressure that stifled North to be named our King Philip Player of the Game. Speaking of defense, Taylor McMath was one of the reasons why Sawyer only scored six points. The senior forward was named our North Attleboro Player of the Game, as a result.

North TV was back at the Pickering Gym Thursday for the third time in seven days and we’ll share the Player of the Game announcement for North Attleboro’s 45-27 win on the wrestling mat over Foxboro.

Brody, Emily and Taylor will each receive personalized DVDs of their game, Player of the Game t-shirts in their school colors and North TV sports bag for their efforts.
