BOSTON - North Attleboro’s state representative and senator were both appointed to leadership positions this week.
Rep. Adam Scanlon has been named the vice chairman of the Post Audit Committee.
The committee is responsible for investigating how state money is spent and managed.
Scanlon represents all of North Attleboro, one precinct in Attleboro and three in Mansfield.
Sen. Paul Feeney will remain the Senate Chairman of the Joint Committee on Financial Services and the assistant vice chair of the Senate Ways and Means Committee.
Feeney represents all of North Attleboro, Attleboro, Canton, Foxboro, Mansfield, Norton and Sharon.
