Scanlon seeking third term

NORTH ATTLEBORO - State Representative Adam Scanlon has filed the necessary paperwork with the Secretary of the Commonwealth’ office to seek a third team serving the 14th Bristol district.

In a press release issued this week, Scanlon cited funding he acquired for important local projects including the Roosevelt Avenue School playground, Sisters@Heart, the North Attleboro Global War on Terrorism monument, the North Attleboro animal shelter, the North Attleboro High School band, the North Attleboro Downtown Collaborative, the Greater Attleboro Area Council for Children, the North Attleboro fire department, the Big Red Bus, and other projects.

Scanlon paid a visit to the North TV studio on Thursday to discuss the decision to seek a third term serving his hometown.
