NORTH ATTLEBORO - A plan to reorganize town departments is another step closer to reality.
Moving responsibilities was first explored by the town council more than a year ago.
The topic was discussed again during Monday night's virtual meeting of the council when Town Manager Michael Borg gave members an update on moving the solid waste department under the jurisdiction of the department of public works.
Councilors voted unanimously to send Borg's plan to the bylaw subcommittee for review.
