PLAINVILLE - The last item on the agenda of Monday night's select board meeting sparked controversy when Brian Kelly announced he would like to continue in the role of chair of the three-member board, a move that upset Maggie Clark.
Reorganization typically takes up that slot during the first meeting after the town’s annual election.
Kelly ran unopposed for another three-year term a week ago Monday, April 7.
