PLAINVILLE - The select board, Monday night, approved a Special Town Meeting for Wednesday, September 7 at the Wood School after announcing the state’s financing program will not count future reimbursements toward construction of the new water treatment plant.
Town Administrator Brian Noble explained the need for the meeting and the costs to the town if residents don’t approve the proposed short-term measure.
