NORTH ATTLEBORO - The foundation of a former member of the North TV sports team but best known as a three-time Super Bowl champion with the New England Patriots received a $50,000 state grant on Tuesday.
The funding was part of the ARPA spending bill signed by Governor Charlie Baker in December.
The grant was presented by State Senator Paul Feeney and Representative Jay Barrows to the Joe Andruzzi Foundation on Tuesday.

Andruzzi was an analyst for a few seasons on North TV's high school football coverage after retiring from football.
