New team leading NA student services

NORTH ATTLEBORO - There is a new team leading the schools' department of student services.

Although the office is being led by two women who are new to their positions, they both know North Attleboro schools well.

Director Margaret Camire is an alumnus of North Attleboro High School and assistant director Jessica Davis has taught at two of the town’s four elementary schools.

Camire was presented to the school committee during their last in-person meeting back in March after moving from an administrative position with Holliston public schools. She has spent time as a special education teacher, a middle school teacher, and held an internship with the North Attleboro school department while in high school. Camire is the daughter of former NAHS teacher, and North TV incorporator, Patricia Lush.

Davis, a North Attleboro resident, was elevated from her position on August 10 as team chair with the Community and Roosevelt schools. She had previously worked at the Early Learning Center and Martin School.

The department of student services is responsible for a multitude of educational services within the district, including special education, homeless care, and foster care support.
