Feehan moves graduation to August 6

ATTLEBORO - Bishop Feehan is the first area high school to announce plans for graduation and senior week festivities.

The parochial school near the Attleboro border with North Attleboro is planning to their traditional outdoor graduation on the night of August 6. The ceremony is planned to be held on the McGrath Stadium football field.

Bishop Edgar da Cunha of the Fall River Diocese has committed to the date and will be on stage to hand graduates diplomas.

Feehan is also planning a "senior send-off day" on the date originally scheduled for the graduation. Seniors will be allowed on campus to pick up important items including yearbooks and visit with teachers, while maintaining social distancing guidelines.

The school's annual Baccalaureate Mass will be streamed to students and families from Feehan.

North TV will be on-hand to record the Mass and graduation, as well as North Attleboro, King Philip and Try-County graduations and seniors events - whenever they might be.
