NORTH ATTLEBORO - Wednesday night’s Farmers Market on the Veterans Common in front of town hall was a first because of a vote of the town’s licensing board during their virtual meeting Monday.
Members Patricia St. Pierre and Cory Shepardson voted yes on the request to grant a license allowing the town’s Angle Tree Brewery to hold a beer garden. North Attleboro Police Captain Jason Roy was voted in opposition.
The brewery was a part of Wednesday's event set up in the southeast corner of the common.

A similar request was rejected last year by the board made up of different members.
