NORTH ATTLEBORO - The town council thanked soon-to-be retired town clerk, former state representative, and former school committee member Kevin Poirier for the years of service he gave to his hometown during the board’s hybrid meeting Monday night.
Poirier announced earlier this month that he would be retiring when his term as town clerk expires next month.
Council President Keith Lapointe praised Poirier as a "legend" in North Attleboro and once asked Poirier's son if his dad was real.
