NORTH ATTLEBORO - The town is looking for a new veterans agent.
Stephen Travers, who has served North Attleboro, Plainville and Wrentham since April of 2022, announced recently he was retiring to spend more time with his family, especially his 10 grandchildren.
The 60-year-old former Army Sgt. Major graduated from North Attleboro High School in 1982 and still lives in town.
North TV spoke to Travers on Monday, one day before his final day as veterans agent.
