NORTH ATTLEBORO - Thursday’s heavy rains caused flooding throughout the area when storm drains couldn’t keep up with the rush of water, but did little to help with the drought that has hit the state.
North Attleboro and Plainville have restrictions on the use of outdoor watering in place, due to the fact that both towns draw their water from wells.
North TV spoke to North Attleboro’s director of public works Mark Hollowell on Thursday about the restictions. He detailed the ban in his town and the reasons why North Attleboro and Plainville have them on an annual basis.
